Biographies: Khalil Elliott is a long time sufi student and seeker of the inner life. He is a Khalif in the Sufi Ruhaniat International. Khalil started and is the center leader for Ashland Sufi Heart Circle and holds regular Gatha classes, Zikrs, Dance meetings, weekend camps and retreats, and special events. Khalil is a Mentor Teacher in The Dances of Universal Peace and provides training for new dance leaders. Khalil is a Cherag and provides ministerial services-weddings, counseling, mediation, and education. Khalil is a Farmer in the Ziraat teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan. He is an avid gardener and maintains the grounds at Ashland Sufi Heart Circle and the Heart Dome. Nurjamila Elliott was initiated into the path of Sufism in 1978. She is a Sheikh in the Sufi Ruhaniat International and in the Sufi Movement International. Nurjamila is also a Cherag (ordained minister) and provides services in Astrological counseling, weddings, house and baby blessings and more. Nurjamila is a Yoga instructor and a long time student of Buddhist and Red Road Teachings. Nurjamila is a Conductor in the Dervish Healing Order, which is the ray of Hazrat Inayat Khan's teachings that are devoted to spiritual healing. She is also the lead drummer for Ashland Sufi Heart Circle's Dance and Zikr circles.
